Because the inner wall bubbles in the EPS material are closed, they are not connected to each other, the water absorption rate is small, and the frost resistance is good, which ensures good thermal insulation performance under water immersion conditions.Related studies have shown that the 6cm thick EPS insulation layer can reduce the heat flow from the surface to the deep layer and reduce the downward movement of the upper limit of the underground permafrost layer. It can slow down the freezing and thawing of permafrost, maintain the stability of the line structure and reduce deformation.
